In conjunction with our fund raiser we are hosting a benefit show at Washington Park High School Theater again this year. The performer this year will be Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band. Johnny Russler is the Ultimate Tribute to Jimmy Buffett. He will be performing for us on Friday May 30th 2008 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available online via the Donate link, or you may call us at 262-833-0320. Calls are also being made throughout the community for our annual pledge drive, and you may also get tickets that way. We hope to see you at the show!
The Racine Police Association would like to thank Retired Officer Julia Burney-Witherspoon for her great work in the community. The Racine Police Association has been supporting the Cops-N-Kids Reading Center for many years and thanks to the support of residents will continue to support Julia and her work keeping Racine area youth on the right path in life.
The Racine Police Association has begun its 2008 drive for funds for Racine and the county. Once again we ask businesses and residents to support our efforts with a direct donation. We have had much success over the years with our programs and hope to continue them again this year. We ask that if you receive a call that you consider helping us out with a direct donation. This year we will be helping out the Cops-N-Kids Reading Center http://www.cops-n-kids.org located in downtown Racine. We will also be helping out the Harvest Food Bank, Special Olympics, and Racine Youth Sports Program just to name a few. We would like to thank you in advance for your support this year.
